eVendor is a food ordering, delivery, and payout platform, operated by B Scanned Inc. (“eVendor”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Who uses eVendor
Vendors manage daily menus and orders. Drivers accept and complete deliveries. Customers place pickup or delivery orders through a vendor’s order link. Vendors and drivers you transact with are also responsible for how they handle your information.
Information we collect
Accounts: name, email, phone, country, and password (stored only as a salted hash by our auth provider).
Driver details: vehicle information and verification documents (license, insurance, vehicle registration), stored privately and reviewed by B Scanned.
Menus & orders: dishes, prices, inventory, and orders including the customer name, phone, and any delivery address provided.
Location: a driver’s device location only while they are online, used to match drivers to nearby orders and provide navigation to the customer. Customer delivery addresses/coordinates are used to route the delivery.
Payments & payouts: handled by PayPal and Stripe; we do not store card details. Vendors and drivers provide bank or PayPal details to receive payouts.
Device tokens: push-notification tokens, to alert vendors of new orders and drivers of new delivery offers.
Technical data: basic device/log data to operate and secure the service.
How we use it
Create and authenticate accounts.
Publish menus, take orders, and notify vendors and drivers.
Match, dispatch, and navigate deliveries to customers.
Verify driver documents before a driver goes online.
Process order payments and vendor/driver payouts, and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We share data only with providers that operate the service on our behalf: our cloud database, authentication, and storage provider; PayPal and Stripe (payments & payouts); Meta WhatsApp (menu messages); Apple and Google/Firebase (push notifications); and our hosting provider. Order and delivery details are shared with the vendor and driver fulfilling the order. We do not sell personal information.
Retention & your rights
We keep data while your account is active. You can request access, correction, or deletion at any time, and can delete your account in-app (which cancels billing, removes uploaded documents, and deletes account data).
